Weekend in Clemson

Spent a weekend in Tiger town a couple of weeks ago, and just wanted to share with all what a beautiful place it is even when all of us aren't at a Game. We spent some time just wandering around campus and looking at all the new facilities, and visiting some old friends. As much as I love Clemson football, I have to say that a lazy weekend in July is pretty spectacular.

Go Tigers! I can't wait for our Tigers to run down the Hill!

The ONLY bad thing about visiting Tiger Town is that the Clemson City Police dept will find a reason to pull you over and write you a high dollar ticket!. It happened to me and I did not violate the law. From what I hear the city of Clemson is making up tax money! I called the Chamber of Commerce and told them that people that I know were already stopping from coming from nearby towns to eat or shop because of this. We love to come to Clemson but this slows you down!

I was ticketed for running a stopsign. I do not run stopsigns, especially when a policeman is present. If you are especially near 104.9 I was told other people were pulled over for speeding and were not speeding. Clemson city needs to make up for missed tax money. Businesses are suffering because people are going elsewhere! You do not have to do anything to be pulled over! I was obeying the law before I saw the policeman, and tightened up and still got pulled over. This is not a 1 time thing, I have heard the same story from others!It is so sad because we LOVE to visit Clemson!!
