I love Bourbon, but set my $ limit at $75 long ago when $75 would buy very top shelf. Now days there are tons of $75 bottles just for the chic market. Fine examples for under $50 abound so why pay more? I would pay $150 for a horse and jockey but have NEVER found any!! Makes me question the validity of the article.

2k you may be interested to know that the new abc store in town is having a drawing for the entire set of horse and jockey Blantons. You don’t win the booze .... just the right to buy it!

Thanks 77. It’s always interesting to hear others thoughts on this subject. Mine are certainly different from this guys.

At last count I had 62 fifths in my collection and The only one we agree on is Blantons. I don’t believe many of these are available in the Carolinas. One thing for sure ..... Kentucky is good for something.

Went to the Louisville game several years back

and stayed at the Seelbach Hotel. While we were there, we went down to lunch at the hotel and the waitress gave us lunch menus with two pages of great food, but it paled as compared to the 4 pages of bourbon! You name it they had it.
