again, if you are not going to the game, why do you care? This decision was made with the players in mind, and it is the correct one.
I'm sure glad I'm not in the stands watching a partial-game just waiting for the inevitable, then being stuck there for 2-3 hours for it to clear.
I'm sure the teams and the ground crew are pretty happy about that also. They can take a few hours now to eat and relax, because they know they will probably be there until midnight or after.

I think you should stick with the line of reasoning you're on, and abandon the condescending (at least that's how it's coming off) part about people not being able to be at the game.
Glad you're there, some can't make it. You're coming off like you're judging other people's situations, of which you know nothing about.
