"Anybody that says Coach Brownell is the best coach to come through Clemson is going to start an argument." -JP Hall

I read one article where Richt basically blamed the INT's..

Aug 9, 2013, 7:47 PM [ in reply to or maybe ]

on poor passes. He essentially gave little credit to the D-backs for making the play because the passes they intercepted were dying ducks. He did eventually say something like "I guess you have to give the DB's credit for running the passes down and making the play." It did not sound though like he was impressed with the Dbacks, just unimpressed with his offense.

if Boyd was picked 3 times in our scrimmage

I wouldn't put too much stock in that. Disinformation

campaign by the leghumpers. Seriously, I would expect similar reports from our scrimmage (even if it's lights out).

Doubtful in the sense of: THAT GOOD... d-neck (sorry) but don't think so...

Did anyone get seriously injured in the scrimmage?

Aug 9, 2013, 7:54 PM

No? Then it was a win.

When you've been paying attention to CFB for a while you learn not to take any scrimmage stats too seriously. The best thing to come out of any scrimmage is a clean major injury report. Bumps, bruises, and tweaks aren't too bad, but it's the ACLs and shoulders that you really don't want.

Re: Did anyone get seriously injured in the scrimmage?

Aug 9, 2013, 9:30 PM

I actually agree with this. I don't want ANY of Jawja's players to miss our game due injury. I want them at full strength.

And I would hope that any self respecting Dawg fan with an ounce of class would want the same thing for Clemson.

Wishing injury on a player of any team is just sick!

I want Jawja to be healthy when we spank that butt!!

Go Tigers!!
