Game 2: Epic comeback ends up a loss. After being down 24-3, Tigers lose heart breaker 30-27 to #15 GT on Thursday night
Game 4: Tigers lose 14-10 to #15 TCU in monsoon game
Game 7: Tigers beat #9 Miami on the road in OT 40-37
Game 9: Deandre McDaniel crunches Ponder. Tigers win 40-24 in epic fourth quarter fashion.
Game 11: Tigers beat Virginia 34-21 to clinch the Atlantic
Game 12: Tigers lose to South Carolina 34-17
Game 13: Tigers lose championship game in final minutes to #10 GT 39-34
Game 14: Tigers beat Kentucky 21-13 in Music City bowl

*First bowl win in four years
*First championship game appearance
*Four of five losses were to ranked teams


2010: 6-6 regular season record with a bowl loss to USF

2012 11-2 with a bowl win over LSU

Game 1: Clemson beats Auburn 26-19 in the Georgia Dome
Game 4: Clemson loses 49-37 to #4 Florida St
Game 12: Clemson loses to #12 South Carolina 27-17
Game 13: Clemson comes back to beat #8 LSU 25-24

*First 11 win season since 1981
*Four straight losses to South Carolina
*Both losses come to opponents inside the top 12
*Clemson finishes 11th in AP Poll

With the exception of 2010 our wins have increased & losses have decreased.

2013: 6-1 (?-?) Tigers begin season #8

Game 7: Clemson gets beat down 51-14 to #5 FSU

I made this just so people get a perspective as to what the last four years at Clemson have looked like from a broad spectrum.

This would not be our first 12 win season. We won 12 in 1981.

Good post and good perspective. Despite the loss to FSU this program is the best it's been in a long time in every possible way you can analyze it. We are better in every way since the Ford years.

I'm really mad about Saturday night but the big picture is that we are better now in every aspect you can think of than we have been in a very long time.

FSU has a great team. I'm not sure that anyone could beat them if they play the way they did Saturday. Other teams have great players and coaches and sometimes you just get beat. I wish we had been more competitive but we weren't.

Put in in the past and let's go 12-1!

I wanted the Dabo hire & have been a supporter since day one, but I understand there are major holes in our program. With usuck being the most important right now.
