We simply don’t have the right mix of talent and experience on D this year for BV style

BV runs complicated, aggressive blitzes with risk taking in the secondary on coverage. Problem is, despite some stellar freshmen on D line, this front seven does not get consist pressure to affect throws, and this secondary plain can’t cover good receivers. We have been let off the hook by QBs who can’t make accurate throws downfield to open receivers. Good teams don’t miss. Hope we can improve next year!
