Brownell is a very nice guy, but he has really only had one season (2 years ago) that we came close to being a good team. I was a student in the Bill Foster era when we made it to the Elite Eight in 79-80. Today, we are not nearly as talented as the Foster, Barnes, or Purnell teams. We were the worst scoring team in the ACC, at 64 points a game.

Our recruiting has struggled over most of the Brownell's years. I am not one those that calls for firing coaches, but I think we need a new face, preferably someone with success as a head coach.
