We should be huge LSU fans Satdiddy night. Why?

Because, the Cajun Corndoggers already have two losses. They are not getting into the CFP, whatever befalls, unless the Committee breaks entirely new ground. But, a Bama team getting in with one loss is ENTIRELY not only possible, but probable. If LSU beats Bama, it gives them that 2nd loss, and knocks out 1/3 of the three team tandem that ESPN keeps pushing to get into the Playoffs. Anything that upsets that apple cart is obviously to Clemson's advantage.
We can all say, "Win out and what everybody else does, does not matter." Butt, I like to hedge my bets, anything that strengthens our chances, I root for. Go, Corndoggies, in your Faux Death Valley!

Tennessee in the SEC Championship game. Then, the Committee would be faced with the decision to either put in a two loss SEC Champion, or bypass them in favor of another SEC team with only one loss. The two one loss teams in that scenario would be Tenn and Georgia. LSU would own the recent head to head with Tenn, and Tenn would own the recent head to head with Georgia. What's a Committee to do?

This is ridiculous, if the SEC champion has two loses, then no team from the SEC should be in the playoffs.

a two-loss LSU or a one-loss Tennessee... My guess is that, like last year, the SEC is going to try and fix it so that they get another two teams in. They don't want to lose money before the 12 team expansion next year. Funny how a one loss Alabama beats Georgia in the SEC championship and then loses to them in the title game....

I'm with you a thousand percent. Also need cuse to beat Pitt, wake to beat ST, FSU win and UNC as well as coots. Big IF but if coots could beat vandy and upset Fla, that diminish uga/Tenn wins over Fla and SCar may squeak back in at 25 when we play them. Get UNC in top 10... Have FSU ranked at last poll. That scenario then NO one would have more t25 wins than us.
This year it's entirely possible we end up with 3 undefeated champions. Us, TCU, OSU.

Maybe true, but the bigger reason to pull for LSU is that your Florida St. team beat LSU and that would give your team and our team a big boost.

This is my playoff fantasy. It will NEVER happen, but a man can dream...
*Tenn beats Georgia then loses to Missouri
*LSU beats Alabama
*Georgia loses to Miss St
*LSU beats Tenn in the SEC championship
*Clemson, TSU, Oregon, and Michigan win out
*The latter four teams make the CFP
*The SEC is left out with all teams having at least two losses
(sigh)... Let me savor that a moment before I come back down to reality.

seemingly cannot make his fancy offense work in big games in the SEC. It baffles me, I always thought of him as a brilliant offensive mind. But, repeatedly, his team does not show up when they have a chance to have a "statement" type win. Truly disappointing, I would love for him to have success in the SEC, just for the increased press conference quips, if nothing else.

Best thing for college football fans is to have the Ga/Tenn winner win the SEC.
Anything other than that risks two SEC teams getting into the playoffs.
I still think things sort themselves out, but I don't think there is much change of Clemson getting in with a loss and it seems unlikely we will be undefeated given the way we've played recently.
