How many of you remember the “Victory Cigars” after a big win over UGA? I always thought that was a clever move by Coach Ford and one that was certainly memorable for the Tiger players. I wonder if coach Dabo would have done that?

It was Coach Charley Pell that started this tradition with the cigars, not Coach Ford.

Yes, it was. And do you remember when, just before we scored to win, that the TV showed the coot players on the sidelines lifting their jerseys? They all had T-shirts on that read "NO CIGAR TODAY." The last laugh is always the best laugh.

In my case, I married her, and still happy together 37 years later.

Her name was Bonnie. From Long Island. That was a Fall worth remembering '75 or '76?.
Seventies are a blur. Go figger.
