Brownell..
Indicate he has high character and moral values and he will be competivelly consistent and not be awful like this past year under Drew.
His players graduate and he is a class guy that will play a lot of close and exciting games.
His winning percentage is good in the ACC which a better conference than the SEC.
The SEC revenue will allow your University to afford his buyout and competitive salary.
Anything I left out in marketing Brad as their next coach?

Good thing basketball season is over and you’ll soon go away. At least I hope.
Other posters have given you directions for contacting the powers that be at Clemson. Reach out to them please and spare us another post on the same topic.

That's the thing. Why the reason for my post. We can do a lot better. A veteran coach of up and comer.
This is the problem with our school and fan base. They feel like we can't get anyone better than Brad. You don't know till you try. Regardless someone else needs a turn...

OK, NC- a couple questions.
1)the band sits behind the basket at one end of the arena. that section has a left, middle, and right section. if you're looking at the court from behind the band, which section is the band in?
2) if you're looking the club seats, what side do the tigers enter/exit from?
3) a cheerleader (and sometimes the tiger) plays a big drum as the tigers get ready to enter. where is that drum located
4)where do the students enter- not a gate #, just a general area
5)where is the tix window in LJ.
6)where is "DJ Shea" set up?
7) where is press row in LJ?
answer those and maybe you convince me you're even been INSIDE LJ

Nobody, I mean nobody on this board has stated as such. The argument is simply that the problems with CU basketball are beyond the coach. The opposition so wants it to be sunshine pumping, love of “Brownlee,” desire for mediocrity and on and on.... That’s just ignorant. ?????

Sure, I’ll bite. What Coach makes the most sense with what Clemson is willing to offer in terms of the intangibles? We want to run an honest program, sure, so who within the league we compete in and support by the University is that coach to take us to the next level?

That's the determination made first. Next year will be 10 years on the job. Is that enough time to make a fair assessment on that? I think so. And if that assessment is he is not the one, then you set out to find that man.

I value your opinion and have no opposition. My point is to ask, what other aspects of the program may affect the performance of the team. Not a question per say, but more of a fact. Coach, yes, Uber important. But are there other factors that if (that coach) were identified would attribute to the success of the progam?

Beating good teams builds excitement, building crowds. People forget how Barnes built the support he garnered from fans as well. First two years he roamed tailgates for the Tiger Tailgate radio show, built relationships with fans, spoke at every engagement he could. He worked the PR end. He had the personality and salesman attitude to do that well. Then when he stood up to Dean, he had Clemson fans in his corner like no other coach in our history. Shame he bolted because he had won over the fanbase. Dabo has done the same thing.
At Clemson I really believe it's about finding that guy, and then having the pieces in place to grow the program with him, and he sticks around. Becomes the face of it. I think that coach is far and away the most important factor, nothing else close. Find our Terry Holland or Bobby Cremins. And I do believe we finally do have the pieces in place to grow the program with that right guy

While I like the list of available, probable and viable coaches, my question was and is who? Who is the coach that would replace Brad and influence the change that we all want for our team...?
