That stipulation will bite you right in the ###.

You'll spend the rest of your life (married life) proving you love her more than football.
Don't be a putz, go back and tell her football means nothing compared to her. Then when you've enslaved her with selfless love you can 'do,' all the football you want.
It'll take her 25 years to figure out you lied. Well, that's the way it worked for me.

make a game, we'll gather with the friend's wife all decked out in orange with a feast prepared. Once the game starts, she's good for about 10 minutes...then she's off to a room to read or browse her computer...which is probably a good thing, because that's when the cussing starts! Of course, I realize many ladies are into football as much as the men, but I don't quite recall any men dashing off to read during a game. At least you can claim three years of bliss! lol

while, ct88 is right.
NEVER, I repeat, NEVER, one more time for emphasis, NEVER give her something she can hold above your head!
Stipulations aren't worth it. You should have kept it shut about that, then try to encourage her into a spring or summer wedding (but do it in a way she thinks it is her idea).
Now picture this, a couple years into marriage:
You: Hey honey my 3 best friends just invited me to the Clemson-FSU game, I'd really like to go, is that ok?
Her: Your best friends who drink too much and hit on every girl with a pulse? Besides, we are supposed to pick out new curtains for our guest room that weekend, remember?
You: We'll behave, and we can always postpone the curtains another week
Her: Oh you mean like how we postponed our wedding date by a few months because of Clemson football? You know, that time you made it clear that Clemson football was more important than our wedding? How many times in our life do you plan on making football more important than me?
GWPTiger: Hey you two, have fun picking out curtains, can I have your extra ticket?

Me-Honey where would you like to go for dinner?
Her-Well, I don't really want to spend a lot of money.
Me-Doll, you are worth way more than the most expensive dinner anywhere in the world. Take your pick.
Her-OK, somewhere nice then.
Me-How about the Hyatt or that new Chinese place out by the mall?
Her-You pick.
Me-Your choice.
Her-Why are you doing me this way.
Me-Honey, I'm just deferring my vote to you.
Her-You make me so mad sometimes and I remember when you was fuking that cheap floozie and that was just 23 years, 9 months, 12 days and 2 hours ago.
Me-How about we just go through the drive-through at McDonalds here in Easley?
Her-OK, get me a supersized #1 combo and one of those sundae things. Caramel, you know I like the caramel.
