What a man, 2-time soldier, engineer, author, scholar, husband, Christian, Mentor, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Tiger & TigerNet personality!
He cruelly & sadly missed turning 100 by just 22 days back on Nov 3, 2021 but certainly not forgotten by so many here and literally around the world where he personally distributed thousands of PAW buttons or Clemson-related items in many Continents.
In Fall 2020 had the honor & treat to meet Joe and Daughter Linda from an invite at his Pendleton home over a long chat in the L.R. and later carried on at nearby deli with a blessing shared before partaking of our meal where he paid.
Thanks Joe21 for being such a prolific & beloved poster on TigerNet and we remember you fondly with a crisp Clemson salute Sir.
Go TiGER(s)!

Guy was sharp as a tack at 99 until his final month or 2 when he got sick. I Tmail with him a few times after some of his shoet stories and he was a genuine tiger man. He barely missed his 100th birthday, and while I will likely not get close, I sure hope my mind is as sharp as he was in his later yrs.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 years already. It seems like yesterday I was reading one of his stories.

I miss him. I can't believe it's been three years. Did Joe's book ever get released?

Died just about 6 months after him of cancer she had then and she was the Daughter involved with that possibility since she lived with him, but maybe other Daughter will follow through but a heavy task & expense to get a publisher.
