We just went from a 10+ win team

next year, to a 8 or 9 win team. We all knew Tajh and Sammy were leaving, but now that Breeland our best corner and Bryant our best returning WR are leaving it really hurts us. 4 INT's and 8 touchdowns are hard to replace. I really hope Vic and Stephone stay, otherwise we will be a 7 or 8 win team.

that our players that have been waiting in the wings can replace the talent leaving. There is no reason to think this team drops to a nine or seven win team based on the what is here. ####, FSU is about to win a national championship that they rode on the back of a freshman. No reason our guys can't do the same.

No we haven't

We have the guys already on campus to take their places. We're coming off a season where for the first time, we were Redshirting players that would have started at any time in the last 20 years. What is does , is possibly keep us at the 10 win regular season mark, that's it.

That's what people thought about FSU last year...

...They lost much more talent to the NFL than we did and they actually got better. We have the potential to do the same in some areas.

Every team loses people early, but the price you pay for

having players become the best at their position is that it is really hard to have someone live up to that stature. It is a good problem to have. When we signed Sammy and were hoping he was all he was cracked up to be, I would have loved for someone to tell me that he was going to be so good that he turns pro after setting the Orange Bowl record as a junior. And that it would be his second Orange Bowl appearance. Same for Boyd.

I disagree! Sammy is impossible to replace, as well as TB's talent and veteran leadership. Bryant should have stayed, and probably Beasley too. However, I see the Tigers offense next year as being less flashy, but more consistent (less TO's) throughout the season. The defense will have enough people to step in with more overall depth than this year.

I'm a Coot and I don't even believe that. Unless you have a total collapse at the QB position. It is nice to be talking about next season as opposed to rehashing last season for the 1000 time, though; thanks.

We have loads of talent with or without those guys. Who on earth do you think we lose to in order to win only 7 or 8 games? Id LOVE to see this list.

Tajh, Sammy, Hod Rod, Shatley, Thomas, Breeland, Bryant, Robinson, Sheuy, Cat man. If you think that list is easy to replace you need to be slapped

You are Crazy, we have the player and talent at WR to keep the offense in the top ten.. With the more talent and bigger Running Backs ( Dye and Gallmen ) running the ball... Lawson is a beast and will replace Vic. The DB ( Freshman & RS freshman) do not have the snaps but could be more talented. Alexander and Baker on the outsides and Kearse and Blanks in the middle..

Like CJ Spiller, Sammy is impossible to replace -- you just say thank you for your time, and move on.
The thing that will determine whether or not we win 7 or 12 games next year will be QB play and the TRENCHES.
Vic Beasely will be a huge loss when he most likely declares in the next couple of days. Breeland on the other hand, can and will be replaced, with little if any drop off.
The losses of senior o-lineman Thomas and Shatley could be far more significant than Bryant and Breeland. Those guys grow on trees in Clemson (see Mike Williams, M. Alexander, K Wiggins, D Kitt). Replacing all conference Lineman is a much different story. We do, however, have some guys that have great potential (Battle and Crowder).

As said we're reloading. I'd wonder if Howard stays around for his fifth year or just takes his degree and moves on to private life.

MIGHT beg to differ.
We do lose Catman and there is no one waiting in the wings to replace him.
Otherwise, it's next man up.

I won't give a prediction as to the number of wins and losses, but there are 4 games that concern me greatly; at UGA,Ga.Tech and FSU,and a home game against a team riding a 5 game double digit win streak in the coots.

The only thing they have on us is our recent history of playing poorly and getting screwed by bad calls in Atlanta.

Hopefully Mackensie Alexander is healthy and as good as advertised. Some other highly rated DB's are also coming off redshirt.

Plus, our defensive backfield gets an upgrade from the past two years. We will be fine. Did you see that QB that Georgia plans to play against us? I don't fear him much at all.
