Yep, it would have been so much better to do nothing and just let the SEC do whatever they were going to do next without us reacting. Just think, the real USC, Oregon, Ohio State, ND, and maybe 1 or 2 others getting invited into the SEC before our granting of rights had been revisited.

that one of those leagues (Pac 12) also has a no-fly list for at least one State's employees that prohibit travel to states in the ACC footprint.

2 of the schools are private so they can do what they want to do....and I've got a feeling that by the time any of the ACC schools get around to playing Cal or UCLA the no fly bans will long be gone....

Clemson has built what they have, doing the right thing. Coaches get players that want to be at Clemson, coaches that want to be at Clemson. It is working so far.
You take 50 prima donna's on a team- the team will not function well- somebody/somebody's gonna be butt hurt.
There is one rooster in the hen and 100 foxes trying to get in.

This is a loser's plan gents. Plain and simple. I hope Dabo and Dan are "yessing" these clowns to death publicly while secretly working on a CLEMSON-FIRST plan. Because this pathetic alliance announcement just screams "RED FLAG" for any school that isn't in ideological lockstep with the West Coast schools. Find one more ACC team (FSU is a likely candidate) and go cut a deal with the SEC - like YESTERDAY. Otherwise, watch this "alliance" crumble before your eyes with certain members working to make sure Clemson football crumbles with it.
