And 30 strikeouts. Baserunning makes no difference if you are striking out. Have a hitting contest and find someone that can swing the bat, I don't care if he is a walk-on.

I coached 8-9 yo way back when and I had 4 kids that could hit and the rest walked or K. My goal as a coach was to get the bottom 6 plus 3 others to get a hit during the season. I had them do swinging at any pitch they thought they could hit for all three strikes. You can’t hit it if you don’t swing and sometimes you have to warm up with three swings.

I haven’t been to a Clemson baseball game in a while, but we watch a lot of pitches (even on strike three).
