We can still win out & finish 11-3 with a Championship

I know it’s going to be tough to get into the ACC Championship but it’s still possible. We could still win 10 games this season even if we don’t get in the ACC Championship.

This team has plenty to play for & still has time to improve. If we put a better performance against Louisville next week the Ucon game is exactly what we need to build some offensive confidence.

We get Wake at home for a game I believe we will win & praise the Lord the fried Chicken is next on the menu.

We just need to continue to improve on offense. That last drive was exactly what we needed to be successful.

Let’s go Tigers continue to get better!

Shipley has been exactly what we thought he was even as a freshman. He’s cut out of the same cloth as Hunter Renfrow.

Yeah, we can win 10 total games......

if we win out and win a bowl game but our chances of going to the ACCCG are realistically nil.

If Clemson, Wake, and NCS all end up with 2 losses do we not have a decent chance. I can definitely see two lossees as a realistic possibility for Wake and NCS.

I wouldn’t say that. Both ncstate and wake have four acc games left. We need wake to lose to us and one other, and we need state to lose two. Not great chances, but state has self destructed before.

Also playing to keep the home win streak alive

Going to the ACCCG is highly improbable. I’d love to have your attitude. I’m just hoping for offensive improvement. Our D, even with lots of injuries, has been fantastic. If we had an average offense we’d likely be undefeated and looking at another ACCCG appearance. As well as CFP birth. But that is not our station in life this year

But seriously, we dont control our destiny in any way shape or form. Wake and Nancy have to suffer multiple losses yet, nevermind us having to win out in league.

I can see 9-3 regular season but it would be a stretch for Wake to lose twice and NC State to lose again. If all three of us finished with 2 loses, who would go to Charlotte?

If they do it like other conferences it would be highest ranked team in cfp poll

From my brief look at the tiebreaker rules, we would need NCS to lose two more games and Wake to lose to us and one other. NCS's win over us would seem to eliminate us if they only lose twice. Here are the rules:

According to that if Wake was to beat NC State then NC State would be the first one out because of the divisional record. Then it would go to the head to head with us and Wake, so we would win the tie breakers.

We play wake. Nc state and wake still have to play so one of them has to lose that game. They both still play UNC who can beat them. Idk if we can score with wake tho. Our D will have to play great.

Shipley (if he stays healthy and Elliott uses him going forward next couple of years) will be our first Heisman winner.

Wake could easily crap the bed against UNC this week. That's what we need. Then FSU find a way to beat State this week... Tall order. Then WAKE would have to beat State. We beat wake. That said, don't see it happening. NC State is pretty good. Just don't see them losing 2 more.

Love your glass half full scenario. I ask an honest question. In all seriousness, what would our record be at the end of the year if we played the coots schedule? When I take my orangecolored glasses off, maybe 5-6 headed to play us to finish 6-6. In my honest and humble opinion, that's the reason you're seeing so many "perceived negative" threads.

UNC is a non-conference game.

Only 3 games left for WF that are conference games: NC State, Clemson, & BC

Our best bet is NC State beats WF. NC State still has FSU, UNC, and Syracuse so I like their chances of possibly dropping 2 more games vs WF losing to us and BC

Tough odds regardless

how Shipley had any shot of winning a Heisman. The only way a RB wins over a QB is to get 3008 carries.

Yep. Way to break it down CG! I really wouldn't be surprised at all to see Davey Doe lose two more. Main focus is we just have to keep winning. Starting next week at UL.

So we played UGA the best team in the SEC to a 7-3 loss & we go 6-6 with the coot schedule. Com’on Gal!

You better look again, their schedule is easier in my Opinion lol.

I don’t see a loss on here minus a interception to the dawgs!

As fans we have to have faith in our team regardless of our offense, we will get better every week because we are Tigers!

Wake wins division even though we beat them. Nancy State loses two more. Wake gets hit with Covid and can’t field a team in ACC championship. Clemson gets the invite….?

Back then we always needed someone to lose for us to be the ACC Champ. I'm not doing it again. This football program doesn't deserve to win the conference this season. It would be a disrespect to the game for such a sorry season to result in such.

I appreciate your positivity. However, have you watched much Clemson football this year? We currently have what is unquestionably the worst P5 QB leading our offense and there is zero signs he can do anything to lose his job. The int at the 6:30 mark in the 3rd Qtr yesterday should have had him out of the game for good yesterday, so with no changes coming , it will be tough to beat teams that have a decent offense
