but if we were, I’d have to think Lenny Dykstra’s name would be on the list. I haven’t followed him since the early 90’s, but the guy just looked like a baseball player should look. It’s that style and energy that I think would resonate with today’s players.

He’s been out of federal prison for almost 10 years, and his only run-ins with the law since then for cocaine possession, methamphetamine possession, and making terroristic threats.
He’s clearly a better man now and could impart a lot of wisdom to impressionable 18-22 year-olds.

Well I hope that if we are ever looking for a new baseball coach, Dabo and Brownell will have a serious sit down with the candidates and explain the level of excellence expected here. Best is the Standard aren't just some words written on a wall.
