We won't get to play them AU will knock them out of contention first.
The SEC Championship will be AU vs UGA.

Here's a question:
1. if Auburn loses to UGA in regular season, then
2. beats Alabama in Iron Bowl
3. UGA and CLEM are 12-0 heading to conference titles and ranked 1-2
4. Then AUB beats UGA in SECCG
Does AUB make playoff with 2 losses (to #1 and #2 team with a win over Bama?
I say yes....

Depends on what TCU, Penn St, Washington/Washington St, and ND do.
Penn St should win out.
The Apple Cup is basically going to decide the PAC, the winner will beat Utah/USC.
TCU will have to beat OK St again.
ND is a wild card with the 1 point loss to UGA.
Though; I think they lose another looking at their remaining schedule - it is still possibly that they could win out.

Haha. It would be funny if ND wins out, the SEC has a 2 loss AU as champion, and they both get left out. Because Clemson, Penn St, TCU and the PAC winner are all undefeated.

It's impossible to know what the landscape be in 2 months but They would have a strong case to make the playoffs.

I know the freshman QB for LSU wasn't having any issues moving the ball on Syracuse's D. He just made a terrible throw for an int and got pulled because of it.

I pray OP is right, but given the defensive prowess of both teams, a blowout seems highly unlikely. Our O has looked explosive at times, but have also been inconsistent. Bama historically has a great run defense, which will make us even more inconsistent, as we will rely on big chunk plays to manufacture points. I like our chances to win, but if the game happens, I'm thinking something in the 27-21 neighborhood
