I hope Dabo lets them have it after CLEMSON beats #1 FSU

We are the defending National Champions, yet the pundits want FSU to be #1. Unless some team is able to knock us off, CLEMSON should be given the same respect that Bama got, and be #1 until someone can beat us. FSU is coming to OUR HOUSE, so when we beat those Noles, I hope that Dabo "informs" the CFB world in his magical way of their wrongdoing towards CLEMSON. I can't wait.

I might be wrong about FSU being #1, but I thought I heard that recently.

Or how about we act like we've been there and stop taking pot shots at our own fans. How about that. Clemson almost ALWAYS gets put on the back burner until AFTER they kick someone's a$$. The "blue bloods" almost ALWAYS get the benefit of the doubt and ranked higher due to "name". $ec is the prime example. Clemson just has to keep reminding them on the field.

Who cares about a preseason rankings anyway. Most of those polls will be turned completely upside down for the most part at the end of the season. The thing about us and FSU is that our game has become one of the biggest if not the biggest game of the regular season the last few years. We need to enjoy it.

Either us , Ohio State or Alabama will be #1 by the time FSU comes to Death Valley . I don't look for tje Noles to get a win over Bama in the opener ( but I don't completely discount it either ) and if we are still unbeaten after our opening month ( gauntlet ?) there will be little doubt as to who are the truly deserving teams at #1 .
Ohio State will be typically ranked high after collapsing a bunch of tomato cans in the B1G.

The time to beat 'Bama is early in the season

They lost 7 or 8 defensive starters to the NFL and are totally retooling their D. Certainly, they still have a ton of talent, but I'd rather play them early.

FSU is a major underachiever with the talent they've always had, but they have a real chance of winning that game.
