Respectfully, I can’t take a blog that doesn’t have an editor to correct the misspelling of a two-time national championship winning coach’s name seriously.

Dabo must of not been all that calm, DK couldn't deal with the pressure handed to him from Dabo bc, he left to get away from the firm side, and straight honesty from of Dabo. DK was one of those that couldn't take the heat, and he ran out of the kitchen, or was he thrown out of the kitchen!!!!

He was dismissed from the team for various rules infractions. He was given first second and third chances. I am happy for him and I hope he has a great career. He learned a lot of life's lessons at Clemson about being a man. I hope he realizes and understands it is not all about winning a ballgame but winning in life and becoming a productive citizen father and man.

I know you are real proud of this article since you posted here.
Summary:
UGa practices harder / faster than Clemson.
Clemson makes you go to class and does things the right way. Unlike UGa, not a win at all costs program.
So you be happy about your program, meanwhile I'll take our program all day, every day.

The difference is Dabo rarely has to kick guys off the team because he recruits guys who have character and want them to get their degrees first and foremost and football always comes second. Kirby could careless about character or his players getting degrees as long as they can play football. How many guys are kicked off his team every season just because he recruits these thugs. DK can transfer to Georgia any day of the week because he is a great football player . Character is another question and that is why Dabo kicked him off the team. Dabo wins the right way. Kirby wins any way he can. That is the difference between the two coaches!

Good take on differences but Tigers have 2 Natties with Dabo..

and Kirby with all his #1, #2 & #3 recruiting classes over his years at Ga has ONE Natty (less than 2 months ago)..
so let’s see what follows in the next 5 years with these two different but Natty-winning coaches.
Go TiGERS.. keep practicing slower, less tough and not hearing a bullhorn.

If 2 plays go differently, UGA has 2 natties and Clemson has 1. The 2 coaches are a lot closer than you think. Let's see which one can stay on top.

Coaches have different ideas and approach to a game. More than one way works. What always works is letting guys know that you care about them. Wally Butts was a hard nose intense coach lot of scrimmages and hitting drills. Bobby Dodd never did any hitting after the season started. His teams regularly and often beat Butts on the field. If you go back and check this season, I am willing to bet Clemson had as many or more injuries in practice as in games. It was just a year of more injuries than normal. A lot of season ending injuries in a game come because of injuries sustained in practice then playing in a game with that injury that already exists.

Both guys are pretty crazy. Neither seem like they have the demeanor a head coach should have.
But obviously it works for them.

All that tough boy football and one natty to show for it. Y’all are pathetic….done lees with more than any other program. Tigers must be doing something right. 2-2 in nattys and both wins against your daddy.

Omg they’re back again!? Pathetic. At one time I worked with the mom of another football player at South Pointe high school in Rock Hill. She said then that Kendrick was a great player but was trouble. At the time he was probably a sophomore at South Pointe. I recall that she was related to him also, possibly by marriage. To sum it up, he was probably a better fit for UGAG.

The bottom line is Georgia was better with Kendrick and we were better without him. Goodrich played better than Kendrick even did when he was here and DK had a good year with Georgia.
In terms of his comment about going up against Georgia receivers in practice, the article does not have what the question to him was. It only had his answer.
DK specifically mentions George Pickens which was interesting. My guess is DK may have covered him a handful times in practice than I have. Pickens was out for at least 3/4 of the time Kendrick was at Georgia. With arm talent like Stetson Bennett and JT Daniels delivering the ball.
At Clemson he went up against Higgins, Ross, Rodgers, Powell, Williams, Ngata, and Ladson. All four and five star recruits. With the number pick in the NFL draft throwing to them. As bad as DJ played last year, he has elite arm talent and probably looks awesome when he does not have to decide who to throw the ball too in drills.
I wish DK the best. I hope the tough GA practices have him better prepared to not look terrible against the Wilsons, Olaves, Jefferson’s and Chases like he did when he played them in College. That is who plays in the NFL, not Ortre Smith or some kid from Wake.

Sounds like Clemson needs to evaluate what they are doing at practice in comparison to the teams that are playing faster and more physical than Clemson.

I too take DK at his unbiased word and believe that where there is smoke, surly there is fire.
Time to change how we practice. We are on a slide and this is the answer.
