yep lots felt this way about blanks last year. he hasnt been as much of a factor this year. maybe he will get it going tsoon though

Or, really, at any point while Blanks is still here. Not to say that Jayron won't be a good player, but Blanks has more experience and is at least as athletically gifted. Looking forwards to what Kearse can do, though.

true but man last year is in the past.. Blanks is not wrapping up this year or atleast slowing these running backs down. He should be killing this year because its time to start looking at the NFL ..
Kearse is Hungry, last game the coach was looking for him when Blanks went down. But Kearse was already in the game..Sammy Watkins had that same thirst as a freshman and look what happened.

The kid has trouble with tackling and with the experience he has you would think he'd wrap up but he dont. BV will play whomever produces whether frosh or upperclassmen. If that blanks great. If that's smith great. If that is kearse great. I'm thankful the talent is there to hopefully not see as much of a drop off.

I was one of those that thought Blanks would be freaking awesome this year. He's good, but last year he actually seemed to make better plays. Not sure - maybe I'm missing something.
Kearse does look good - so who knows how this will end up?

He seemed to be near the end of every play during that Syracuse game. Maybe that's just because I was looking for him. I would like to see him get meaningful snaps at least.
