Watkins suspended for 2 non conference games, Good decision

We need Watkins for each conference game and USuC.
We can still win them both.

The polls will drop Clemson but not far due to AU's being touted as 'back.'

Clemson will pass AU in the polls on the way to the Orange Bowl. Other games are much more important. If we can win all or most of them everyone will look back on Dabo's decision and all but the worst of the dumpers will praise his good judgement.

Totally agree, the way I see it. He sits the first two and gets the rust off against Furman and then blows up for FL. St. Not that big of a deal. Another plus our team will be game planning knowing he isn't playing and it helps everybody else get ready to do it without him if needed and more touches for the WR group. That's my positive spin on it anyways.

i agree completely. AU might be a lil trouble, but i dont really believe they will.

i look at it like this. Sammy wont be in there of course, but that gives the other WRs an Boyd to get to know each other a lil better so to speak. we get to find out how much better they play when we really need them to. even when Sammy gets back, you never know how much we will need to other WRs.
