Watching Dawes play well is just frustrating...

When he was having a good game vs BC last week in first half and then he didn't bring it in the second half. If he was a more consistent player we would have won three or four more games this season at least.

Good call on more Hunter, less honor. Maybe Brad finally found his line-up. Plus Hunter hit the 3's. That's our team though. Hit 50% of your 3's you're probably going to win... Then again it was Pitt. Great game by our Tigers but Pitt looked like we did against ND.

Lol.
I guess I could be wrong, but it sounds like he’s saying it’s frustrating watching him be so inconsistent in his play. He plays well one night and not so well other nights. He probably could’ve worded it better, but I’d bet a dollar that’s what he means.

He wants posters to infer his message so he can say he didn’t mean it the way they took it when they call him out.
What he’s really saying is: -Brad is a terrible coach -Dawes hasn’t progressed to his expectation -Dawes was a major contributor in the BC loss and several others this season - Lack of effort and poor coaching are why we are 11-8. - Our talent level, aka: Dawes being an unquantifiable measure of inconsistency wouldn’t be on our roster if we had a better coach, ie recruiter in CBB.

and your opinion remains utterly meaningless
it's really kind of sad.... you wanted them to be ineligible so badly, and just can't accept the fact that none of them were ruled ineligible
but that's just who you are.. you have your viewpoint and can't see or accept anyone else's viewpoint or any facts that contradict your skewed position.. entertaining sometimes, tiresome otherwise

Fact remains...UNCheat elected to throw their entire university's academic reputation under the bus rather than their basketball program.
Pragmatically they have been proven correct in their assessment that the academic world would be more forgiving than the athletic community.
If my daughter, who works in HR, sees a degree from UNC during the decades in question on a resume, she is allowed to ask for proof the degree was earned and classes were attended. That would be a professional insult, so she doesn't. But that's the choice UNCheat made for their alumni: that thousands of alumni on occasion should have to defend their degree, rather than hold accountable a handful of cheating basketball players who probably didn't graduate.
That leaves it up to Clemson / NCSt / Duke fans to remind the world that we are only respecting the wishes of UNCheat by publicly affirming the fraudulent nature of some Tarheels' degrees.

the fact will remain that none of those players were ruled ineligible... no matter how much you want them to have been
you seem incapable of assimilating that concept...again, no surprise

Most do. Simms, KJ, Grantham, DeVoe and Blossomgame are the exception. Problem is usually just one of those guys is on the team at a given time.

Several of the guys you listed had their development severely limited by playing out of position the majority of their careers. Just think of what Simms could have been with that size, strength, skill, and athleticism if he wasn’t trying to play the 5.

He has been playing out of position for most of the year. He’s been playing too much at the 2. We’ve finally decided to stop hamstringing ourselves by playing small.

Pitt doesn't have a true PG. They made it easy on Dawes. He had open shots. Pitt is a mess. If Pitt even had a guy like Honor they would be better. They really don't have a true PG. That is not a complete team. They had trouble even bringing the ball up court or setting up their half court offense. They barely can hold on to the ball. Odukale is averaging something like 3 assists all year.
Anyway...ok just looked it up. He has 60 assists on the season and 49 turnovers. I am not sure if that was before tonight or not. Dawes was a product of who we were playing.

The ‘Honor/Dawes’ backcourt has not worked out as a combo. But C. Hunter is starting to play decently this season. Having Honor in more of a situational role may help this team. But Dawes needs to run point more at this point.

I really agree. For me he is the most frustrating player on the team to watch. He basically relies on the 3 ball as our PG for his source of points. He heaves it up at every opportunity he gets and when he's hot, its good but when he is not on, its very bad for our team. In the game against Pitt, he took 9 shots from the field and 8 of them were threes. I mean thats ridiculous as a PG in my opinion for someone who they do not run designed plays for to shoot. He usually does well when we are at home but on the road, against ND for instance, its a hindrance to the team. I wish he would stop relying on the 3 so much and use other parts of his game to help the team, because I do think he is a good player when he is driving and assisting. He just does not seem to want to do that as much.
FRUSTRATING. If I was Brad I would be in his hear like no other and bench him when he takes too many 3s.
