Watched the new Marvel movie last night - the Externals

I am so glad I did not pay for that POS. Poor acting, poor writing, and at least an hour too long.
definitely the worst Marvel movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I guess I paid for it since it was on Disney, but it is not worth paying for.

With my daughter (home sick from school) this morning.
Mein got it was bad. It’s like they were most concerned with having a politically correct cast and once they got that, the plot was secondary. White, black, Indian, Asian, Hispanic, gay, handicapped, you name it. Benneton ads aren’t this diverse, and there were so many characters, they couldn’t develop any of them and none of them ended up being compelling.

Watched it right up until the men starting kissing each other... gave it a chance to get better but it went right off the cliff with that. Did not finish the movie... will not finish it either. And before I gat hammered... you right, I don't care to watch passionate same sex couples scenes at all... In fact, would be Ok with me if movies left the "lovey-dovey" out of them all. Just kick butt and take names!

moral standards for political correctness. I'm not much for any sex scenes. Does that make me sexophobic? He plainly said he didn't like any sex scenes, why then did you not call him sexophobic?

But that was just an excuse for that ########. Casting was the biggest problem. Selma Hayek was flat out terrible. Sprite was a terrible character. Kumail Nanjiani portrayed a superhero the same way he portrayed a software engineer on HBO’s Silicon Valley. Having Jon Snow and Robb Stark in a movie where a main character is named Cersei took me out of the MCU and put me back into Westeros. Angelina Jolie was probably the best part, but only because she was given the coolest kill scene in the movie. Other than a handful of lines of dialogue you wouldn’t even think this was a MCU movie.
The mid credit and post credits scene were good introducing Eros and Pip. I doubt Eros will make everybody horny like he does in the comics, but we’ll see. The “introduction” of Blade was also cool even though they only showed his sword.
And seriously….. Ikarus…. That’s how you kill him off?? A lot of imagination in the writing there. A kamikaze flight into the ####### sun. My four year old could’ve written that one.
