Watched replay of last series- they were holding Beasley on

Sep 2, 2012, 9:28 AM

Nearly every play. Amazingly no flags thrown.

I saw that as well. Even when he got that sack in Auburn's last drive it was so obvious that he was being held and no flag. Those officials were terrible. But at least they didn't cost us the game. If you look at most of Auburn's big runs our guys could get away from the blocks because they were holding their jerseys.

I know holding calls are missed all the time and they're not going to call all of them, but how in the world they didn't throw a flag on the one he still got the sack on is beyond me. He nearly took his jersey off and stretched it a size larger. But it was good to see that killer instinct and determination in our D at the end.

Glad I wasnt the only one who thought this. The tackle was holding Beasly all night, it was pathetic that they would never throw the flag. If you have it on DVR, look at how the tackle has handfuls of jersey on every play. Beasley was abuing that guy and he was holding on for dear life.

No holding, no blocks in the back

I believe the refs threw one holding flag on them all night and none on us. They missed several holds on them and probably some on us as well. They missed a couple blatant blocks in the back both ways. They missed a facemask on them and a late hit on us. Pretty much they didn't believe in calling penalties unless it was false start/illegal formation/offsides, which they called plenty of.
