Was watching KB lately in last years games.

He made some remarkable throws both at the mid-level and the long ball. Granted, he was a bit inconsistent, but if he gets his consistency up especially in long ball accuracy, I don't see a problem at all.

I think the problem was the final 1/3 of the season. Prior to that, KB 2/3 played very well. The question is, was the end of the season when opponents began to sit back and make him throw accurately / run or did he simply have a drop off?

He had some amazing games and some great throws during the season it was the final stretch that changed opinions of him imo.

Hope he can turn it around, if not we have a wealth of other options.

KB was 23/34 272yrds 2td/1 int vs scar

23/29 252 yr 1/0 vs miami..

Which were both toward end of year.

Clemson was favored against bama largely due to kb's Perfomance toward the end of the year.

I’m speaking more so about his down field throws towards the end of the season. That’s where I noticed a drop off in form.

I haven’t gone back to rewatch but that’s just how I remember it.

He really didn't have a drop off at the end of the season. His issues came when a team pressured him and forced him out of the pocket. If he was able to elude them his passes were on target most of the time. On occasion that he turned the wrong way and was able to get out of the grasp of the opposing player he wasn't able to get any separation and then either got sacked, ran out of bounds, or made a bad throw. The advantage that DW4 had was he had a great blocking back in Gallman that gave him a extra second and seemed to never turn into the rusher. Whereas, KB turned into the rusher a lot and had to think run for my life instead of passing to someone open. Also, many passes that KB threw downfield seemed to be dropped. That will take it's toll on a QB's confidence as well. GO Tigers.

Too many only remember the Bama game. He did not play well against them but neither did anyone else on the team. KB2 looked good against the coots and Miami. Prior to that he was nursing injuries which impacted his play.

My criticism of KB aren’t on the throws that he made (although very inconsistent) but on he throws that he didn’t make. His vision is subpar. If his first read wasn’t there, he would tuck and run.

There were so many plays where he would have an open receiver and he wouldn’t throw it. There were even a few replays where the wide receiver was wide open and it looked like Kelly saw him, but still didn’t throw it.
