Crazy finish to Alabama-Houston game last night...

Dunk and potential goal tending not called on other end to win it for Alabama. That was great atmosphere at Alabama. Nate Oats has really created a great basketball environment there. See video:

I agree. It was close, but I don’t think it was goaltending. The melee after the game was sort of funny.

There is some more video of the Houston team and coaches charging the officials. Cops had to step in to protect the officials.

You mean to tell us that coach didn’t just complain about football being a top priority at Alabama?
He decided to do a great job with what he has, and he made something happen?

He's brought in a couple good classes. Wasn't a big name bball coach either. Will be interesting to see if he can keep the excitement going.

Oh his class next season is top 6 in the country. Alabama wrapped him up with a $10 million buyout also. A lot of people thought Maryland would go after him but they aren't going to be able to afford it.

Arizona also did a great job of hiring the assistant at Gonzaga. They are undefeated and in the top 10 in the country.

I would think by now Marylands financial woes are behind them.

Minus the Covid impact all schools faced in 2020. Considering B1G payouts are about $10mil more than the SEC and UM doesn’t probably spend a whole lot on football

Jeff Goodman who does a great job covering college basketball said that Maryland won't be able to afford it. I think the only program that Oats would really go for and the school would be able to afford it is Michigan State when Izzo retires. Oats is from that area.
