Was not all the impressed with Bama's offense

Sep 3, 2017, 10:42 AM

Seriously, they looked the same as they did in the championship. QB that cannot throw it and good group of running backs that can be shutdown with loading the box. If you have not had a chance to look at the game, FSU special teams gave the game away. Mishandled kick off return, BAMA takes over on the 11th yard. Blocked kicked by BAMA(credit to BAMA). It seemed all night they have a starting position in FSU's side of the field and to only come up with 24 points, really? I am sure the SEC network will not point any of this out but Dabo will be licking his chops when he watches this game. I was at the NC casino last night watching the game, and a couple of the Alabama fans actually agreed on the lack luster performance by the offense.

"Why NOT Clemson"
"Why Not Dabo"

Had 220 rushing yards and scored 31 points in the championship game.

We are the exception, not the rule.

The rule is that a team's defense start a season much more developed and refined than its offense. Frankly, Dabo, Jeff and Tony make us lose sight of how football works everywhere else.

We also played our starting QB much more against Kent than we would have to increase his experience level and build his self confidence being that this was his first year leading this offense.

Looked about the same to me too. Calvin Ridley sure looked good considering we shut him down in the championship game. Maybe that was Tank's work.
