Was It Classless To Boo A Man That Helped Bring Seattle A Title ---

Sep 12, 2022, 11:10 PM

Some of those Seahawks fans seem to have no memory or lost it all together.

Plus the business side of the NFL when dealing with player's contracts a lot of times is beyond and out of any amount of loyalty's control.

Its not just a game. Its brutal. It hard work. Its probably more complicated and more stressful than what you do and a lot harder. Its big business. Most are holding on by a thread to stay there. Its what takes care of their families. Its not just a game at that level.

Yes. Seattle declared their stadium a class free zone. Which explains Pete Carrols presence.

You are talking about people who tore down an indoor stadium to build an outdoor one … in the rainiest city in the country. They ain’t right in the head.

Saying classless and the same ones that post about Feaster, Lee, all the baseball players, etc being “traitors” and have or would boo any Clemson man that transfers to USuck. Just an interesting observation.

There's a couple ways to look at that, though. I look at it

as the ultimate sign of respect. They booed him because they know what he is capable of, and he very well could have beaten their team. Had it not been for turnovers, he would have.

Is it classless to leave a team that supports you, because they can "afford" you anymore?

For years, Tom Brady took less money so that the team could "buy" better players around him. That is class.

I was honestly surprised but did not know what may have went on in his decision to leave. Seems you would hear on occasion that he was on his way out.

Booing opposing players is fine

Sep 13, 2022, 9:14 AM

He's not on the Seahawks any more. Giving him a little taste of hostility is fine. Although I did think they could've played a few bars of "Wilson" during the team introductions.
