My elderly grandmother was in the car earlier and I had the radio on when I started it up. He said it was 5-4 at one point and didn't say in favor of who. She yelled at the radio- In favor of WHO? LOL.

Don several times reiterated the team did not play fundamental baseball and made many mental mistakes. He had to hold himself back from blaming coaching. In fact, I think he cut himself off in mid sentence several times to keep from implicating the coaches. So what you heard was a frustration of a poorly coached team or one that poorly executed the fundamentals.
