That makes no sense. From the looks on tv there are a lot of empty seats.

Its filled up quite nicely. Lots of late arrivals. Stiil maybe a thousand empty seats.

Out for 2 days to se the Tigers beat #1 Dook. This was the Gene Banks, Spanarkel And Gminski team. I sat on the 1st row behind the scorer ' s table (before IPTAY moved the students to the end zone). Largest crowd ever in rhe John. Folks sitting on the steps.

As I recall clemson won 71 to 49 with something like 29 lay ups.

Keith Walker hit two late free throws to ice it. Crowd was 13,500 as I recall. Electric night

We were turned away right before halftime.

They had one ticket person selling to 500+ line for the entire first half. Then told the last 200 of us they were sold out. Any open seats you saw were eaten by the ticket holders.
Just a perfect storm of 5000 people thinking we could walk up to a Clemson game during break.
