and The Whig in Columbia. Haven't tried the others.
We used to ride our bikes down from Wagener Terrace and cross the crosstown on a drunken friday night. That fried shrimp was the bomb.

Fishnet seafood just past bees ferry on 17 was the first place I ever had garlic crabs, it is seriously legit.
Workmen’s Cafe out in James Island is a little dump with a straight bangin’ meat and 3.
R Kitchen secret probably way out about this but no sign on the building, tiny little spot w a couple two-seaters and a counter right across Rutledge from Fuel, can get an outstanding meal cooked right in front of you and shoot the breeze w the cooks.
Flowers’ Seafood on Edisto island is a good store, but they have a truck out back and make some of the best fried shrimp you’ve ever had.
Will have to check out that spot in Conway.

I see the signs are all gone so maybe Applebees, or Chili's or Flingers or something will be regaining their Wal Mart anchor spot.

######## that Spartanburg is (and as a native, I lay full claim to my right to this opinion), Ike's is awesome.
What about Mac's Drive In? Always ask for a milkshake.
I also almost wanna count Bowen's Island in Charleston.

the other day after I watched Nick Stanzcyck catch some fish with Billy Freeman.
Darius goes to Scott's BBQ and mentions FIG, and those were his "favorite places".

I haven't even driven through downtown enough to know anything anymore. Someone asked me that the other day and all I could think was that I could probably answer which Chick filet is better with more confidence.
