We’re gonna have to play like we’re capable of playing and not how we HAVE been playing ? I really believe we have the ability to do it but just don’t know if we will.

Now see how many he's been targeted. Could be more to it than just thinking he's not good this year. DJ may not be targeting him much yet. You do have to remember he was injured some of fall camp...DJ has to get more familiar with him in practice, and they could be keeping him under wraps. Similar to Justyn Ross his freshman year.

Zipping it may last a few weeks and then it would be back to the same ole regurgitated spill.
Here’s to hoping we can find a way to make some needed improvements to pull the big prize again! It’s been too long coming.

find a way to denigrate the accomplishment. Remember in 2018, within three days after the beatdown of Bama, Pawl Finebaum and his cohorts had gotten together and spun up a whale of a new excuse for it.
Forever aforetime, prior to that game, the SEC teams won the big games because they played that brutal SEC schedule, and were always "Battle Tested".
Now, suddenly, after The Best College Football Team of All Time got landblasted by little old Clemson, they figured out that that same "brutal SEC schedule" had just done plumb tuckered out those big ole Bama boys, and they had nothing left in the tank for Clemson at the end of the season.
So, I am 110% sure, that if we pull it off and win the whole thing again, the excuse for why it happened out of the SEC camp would be more than worthy of an entire "SEC Shorts" episode. Prolly something like "At least five guys had some bad hangnails that were bothering them, and one of the main defensive guys had a raging case of jock itch. Also, Clemson ran a bunch of plays we hadn't practiced tackling them on. You can't expect our SEC guys to go out and be competitive with Clemson under those circumstances."
