Jan 2, 2020, 2:27 PM

Will be in NOLA for championship game and wondering where Clemson Tailgate areas will be. Any info would be appreciated.

Or just walk if you're physically capable. It's only about a 20 min walk from Bourbon and Canal to the stadium. On gameday, it would probably take you that long or even longer to wait for an uber and then drive over there.

In answer to the OP's question, I expect the Alumni Association is still working out the details and will release the details within the next day or 2 for the typical all inclusive pregame tailgate that they usually put on.

Walk from Bourbon Street to Dome

Jan 2, 2020, 3:13 PM

I hope you team loses badly, and ends the night lying on the turf in a pool of its own tears, blood, vomit, and shame.

But I truly don't want any of you to be another victim of crime in NOLA. If you walk from Bourbon to the Dome, you will cross this area.

Don't do it at night. Just don't. I know many of you are experienced travelers and some of you have visited New Orleans or maybe even lived here. I'm just telling you what the locals know. You don't go near the 700 block of Canal after dark.

Thank you for the advice. Will take into consideration as there is no point in taking unnecessary risks.

We made the walk 2 years ago, but there is definitely some power in numbers. It didn't seem sketchy, and I try to remain very aware of my surroundings. There was a pretty large number of other people doing the same thing, and we were with a good sized group of people we knew.

It was also more like 6-7pm as opposed to 3:30am when that shooting took place. I'm just stating my experience, but I do appreciate any advice regarding areas to avoid.
