He knows that second half is exactly what we needed to get our guys on the right page moving forward. We won, and won't be challenged like this for a while (BC).
As mad as I was over the blatant hold after hold and what TAMU was able to put in the stat sheet, which was a product of mainly their ability to tackle half our Dline the entire second half (just like U of L a few years ago), I believe this serves us better than a waltz through College Station would have - all the praise, you are the best, yadda, yadda, yadda would not have given us as much in the end. What those ACC officials let happen will only make this team stronger. Coach V knows he has the dudes and this second half tape is the perfect recipe for our guys. Hence; his huge smile throughout that entire interview.

Agreed. Would rather have this scare now (like we did with Louisville in 2016) than later in the season.

Great post, couldn't agree anymore. Everything I saw last night with our guys can be fixed. Now we have some tape and material to build on. I feel comfortable about the problems being fixed due to the effort our guys showed last night.
