He still has to get comfortable out there but man you can see the flashes, not the biggest arm in the world but his accuracy is second to none

That said, he was 1000% gun shy most
Of the time and ran first always. Might have been the directive from coaches but not the arm strength we’ve been used too with Deshaun, Trevor or even DJ

You haven’t seen Cade play or you misremember Deshauns arm because he doesn’t have a bullet. What he does have is similar to Cade can make all the throws with his accuracy a big arm doesn’t mean anything without touch/accuracy

Agreed. Haven’t seen Cade throw enough in college to make an informed decision. ~2 passes in an entire half yesterday so not much to go off. Have seen his high school highlights but hard to compare.

Like I said. Flashes. We see the talent and hope the arm talent is there as well.

But Deshaun could heat it up if needed. See legget throw in final drive vs Bama on final scoring drive. Bullet.

And see Cades throw down the middle against GT was an absolute laser. Would never compare his stats in HS to college but when it comes to making those next level throws you can either make them or not he’s consistently made them that’s why he won the elite 11. Not saying he’s going to be perfect just saying it’s all there and he was molded to run our offense
