Absolutely. Rittman has been incredible. Unbelievable what he’s been able to build so quickly

former Clemson volleyball coach Jolene Hoover's daughter Carley, an outstanding pitcher, was a freshman at Stanford for Rittman's last season there in 2014. He apparently was run off by a group of disgruntled parents who were basically upset over lack of playing time for their daughters. It escalated into kind of a mess.
He was then an assistant coach at a couple of places before getting the HC job at Clemson with a recommendation from Hoover. Carley transferred to LSU after her freshman season. She was part of a little league world series championship team here in Simpsonville back in 2009 I believe.

That was part of it. Some bigger alums were disgruntled over the fact Rittman wasn't winning Pac 12 titles and he was also having a hard time winning a regional... And therefore not making Supers. Sound familiar? It should. It snowballed and stuff you spelled out crept in too.
Hilarious that Stanford will most likely be sent packing from Bama.
Now look what we're stuck with. Having to sweep the worst team in ACC this year just to have a chance to be the last team in the 64.

It’s actually hilarious that Bama’s getting bounced from their own Regional. That it’s Stanford doing it doesn’t matter to me.

Maybe what Neff should do in mbb- a similar type coach in mns bkball they should go after if Brad doesn't succeed soon. A coach who has done well but just can't get over the hump winning championships.

able to accomplish considering the lack of any kind of history or winning tradition there, plus our smaller stadium to boot - the type of excuses that serve to keep our basketball program mired in mediocrity. They are an inspiring story.

From what I’ve heard he (and his wife) love it here at Clemson. Doesn’t mean he won’t leave but sure makes it easier to stay.
