No mention of Boyd's injury

Oct 21, 2012, 7:05 PM

But Ed Cunningham said he would be doubtful for the Wake game

he basically said Dabo was putting Boyd's life in danger

Oct 21, 2012, 8:14 PM

oh yeah...the referees gave Clemson the game. At least he didn't call everything a touchdown like against Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jacket RB got tackled in the endzone for a Clemson "touchdown"=2 points. He understood why the referee didn't call interference on the GT linebacker that lead to the tipped pass and "touchdown" that got returned to the 45 yd line.

I was wondering about that too. How is Tajh?

Oct 21, 2012, 8:52 PM [ in reply to No mention of Boyd's injury ]

Ed Cunningham was convinced Tajh would miss practice all week due to injured shoulder and ribs. I thought he was making too big of a deal out of this. But it did look like Tajh was in some pain. A short week to recover cannot be a good thing. Has anyone heard about Tajh?

That is very disappointing - coming off of an open date in which they supposedly worked on fundamentals. The most glaring thing is to see the very high pad level this offensive line consistently plays with. They were very bad yesterday!

us right. Not sure what our problems were at the start but I was expecting a little better performance and focus earlier. off a by week it was surprising to see. of course I'm sure VT was locked and loaded after losing the last two

Give 'em a break!

Oct 21, 2012, 8:15 PM [ in reply to Re: "Poor Technique, Fundamentals on OL"*** ]

High pad level? Who G.A.S. ? The Offensive Line has been one of the most pleasant surprises thus year... they had a two week break and were a bit off... bottom line, they were good enough to beat VaTech

Go Tigers!

The last two games have been their worst...

Oct 21, 2012, 9:42 PM

that doesn't bode well for the remainder of the season.

Re: The last two games have been their worst...

The defenses we will face in these last five games will be better than we faced in the first half of the season but we should be able to put up enough points to win.

The whole outgained by "over 100 yards" is blown out of proportion. We simply did not have to move the ball very far on many drives in the game. If we had to we would have put up more yardage and won, but just not by 21.

The same can be said for the UF/S. Carolina game. Everyone made a huge deal about them only having 29 yards in the first half, but when they start two drives from the 1 and 3 and have great field position for the other, what do you expect?

Very good point.***

with two different coordinators? Coincidence perhaps?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not likely coincidence. Stiney & O'Cain stink as co-OCs.***

play hopkins in the secondary. he's a better defensive back than he is a receiver. spot play him, ask him.
