which is perfectly understandable under the circumstances. Canceling the game would have no real impact or post-season implications for either team.

I think that might be a little bit of a tough sell. Whether it has postseason implications or not it’s a rivalry game. Imagine the uproar if Clemson or South Carolina canceled our game.

I get there are some pretty extreme circumstances here, but I think an argument could also be made that it would help the healing process to get back to some normalcy…especially for those whose careers are coming to an end, to get to play one last game for their brothers who are no longer here.

I'm sure VT had some interruption when they had the similar situation it was that in the summer.
