IMO strategy must change this year if Playoffs are the goal.

Dabo's style the past several years has been to play as many guys on the roster as possible in every regular season game. I get that, it rewards the non-starters that work very hard. No problem with it. However, given the perceived strength of the ACC this year and our loss to Georgia last week, coach must alter his approach. No more pulling the starters so early in the 3rd quarter, only to give up garbage points to the opponents who keep all their starters in the whole game. If we make the playoffs, it will be because we are recognized as a Top 3 defensive team. Don't allow our great defense to play shutout ball through 3 quarters to only see their efforts squandered by a couple of late garbage TD's by the opposition. Most people around the nation only see the final score. They don't know the walk-on, practice squad senior who only dresses for home games gave up a 50 yard bomb with 2 minutes left in the game. In years past it didn't matter. However, "style" points will be what gets us to the playoffs this year, if it happens at all.

Well they better grow a pair like your squirrel and play through the injuries bc, the talking heads are sick of seeing ACC Clemson in the playoffs ahead of the teams that they have favored all their life. We will have to blowout our scheduled opponents to have a chance to sniff the playoffs bc, they are already singing the Clemson don't belong in the playoffs song very loud and clear!!!

Re: Are you saying the Playoff's are not the goal this year? Sure makes me feel better knowing the only team we will probably face all year that was a top 10 team saw to it we can look forward to the Playoff's next season.

Agreed, but if they don't get the QB run going we are toast, because teams are going to tee off on him and he will become even more hesitant to run like last Saturday. The next few weeks will tell the tale on DJ and how he responds in the run game after looking very timid the few times he he did run against Georgia.

No playoffs this year after the Georgia loss. ESPN has already made their decision. Now, about 2022.......
