Does anyone know why those W&M players were

sitting in the orange seats behind home plate this weekend? It appears they had a radar gun and one was recording stats. Maybe they were scouting their own players, but they could definitely see our pitchers. However, I don't recall seeing them texting anything or giving signals to their dugout. But, ....

Not trying to be "Doeren" or anything. And, if they were cheating, it didn't work.

Teams often put injured players or pitchers who aren't going to throw behind the plate to record the pitchers velos

They sat beside me on Friday and Sunday. They were only using the gun on their pitchers and there didn't seem any thing nefarious was going on.

Usually an opposing player sets up near the radar gun by wheelchair seating

The opposing team does that every game. Keeps stats on
