USC could lose its island to UGA. Donor’s family says the school isn’t upholding the deal
In deeds signed between the university and island donor Philip Rhodes, it stipulated if USC didn’t uphold the requirements, Pritchards Island could go to UGA.

Started with a summer school ecology class and went back with the professor off an on for years. He's my boss now. When he gets back from vacation I'll see what he has to say. He has been pretty pissed at how it's been ignored by USC recently.

The old loggerhead hilton was just a screened in platform with a roof and bunkbeds ala Johnstone. It's been gone a long time. The "new" facility pictured in the article was a major step up with AC and running water, heck I don't think the hilton even had electricity.

If UGa will invest in it like the have SREL I say more power to them. Although I'd think Clemson could work it out of here https://www.clemson.edu/cafls/research/baruch/

But I'd love for Clemson to have a chance. I did see close up what UGA had on Skidaway Island while living out there. Pretty nice setup and aquarium.
