Unmitigated CHAOS for the SEC would ensue.

Now, let me preface this by saying, the chances of these three things happening would be about like another meteor the size of the one that killed the dinosaurs hitting the earth without warning. But, here it is:
1) Georgia Tech shocks the known universe and beats the Dawgs. Doesn't matter how.
2) Jimbo's Bimbos upset LSU. On talent, it wouldn't be impossible. On the field, the eye test says it would. But, let's pretend we all have been blind, and A&M pulls off the shocker.
3) LSU then wins the SEC Championship Game, handing the Dawgs their 2nd consecutive loss.
Now, your SEC Champ has THREE LOSSES. Your runner-up, and everybody else, have at least TWO losses.
What will the CFP Committee do, as far as the SEC is concerned?
Just for CHAOS sake, let's assume there are at least five highly ranked one loss teams still around.

Assuming only one loss from the other higher ranked teams

than Clemson (the Mich-OSU game). It would be winner of that game plus TCU, USC, and Clemson if everyone else wins out. Pretty easy peasy.

conference in college football sitting on the sidelines? As I said, it would never happen, but if it did, the ESPN pundits would be wringing their hands so bad, they would be left with nubs up to their elbows.

The same thing they always do. Bring the fairy out to sprinkle magic dust on everyone's eyes so they believe the SEC is more deserving than everyone else. If the SEC would have a 4 team playoff for the SEC championship every year thats all ESPN would need. They could stop wasting time covering anyone else.

To ensure chaos you’d also need Auburn to upset Alabama. Otherwise, I assure you, the committee would put them in

GT beating Georgia is very possible and I’ve been saying it all week because they have gotten better and UGA underestimates how good they may be. A few turnovers and we have a big SEC upset.
It would be very hard to leave us out when we beat FSU & GT who beat their best two…lol
It would make up for the UNC loss that killed our strength of schedule. Wake forest & NC State losing their QB all hurt us when they were better teams when we played them.
Let’s go Tigers, let’s go Tech! Lol
Joy might just hit the Tigers during the peak!

Actually, the CFP has already put LSWho (with two losses) ahead of us in the rankings. They would have no problem keeping the dawgs ahead of us, even with a loss to Ga Tech….. Yep, gonna need more chaos!

Yep, you can bet the CFP would have AT LEAST 8 teams,

starting in 2023. All those pesky "scheduling issues" or whatever it is that they claim is holding up Playoff expansion would suddenly be solved overnight! Motivation is a big thing. Some horse heads in a few beds, and VOILA, expansion is a done deal!
