Nike wanted the school to have one name and one logo for all of our teams. Not only did the men and women not share a nickname, different teams used different logos.

Nope, Mike didn't want to get in the cage for several games, LSU decided to not make him uncomfortable.
Mike lives in a $3mil habitat that is an accredited environment for Tigers about 1/4 mi from his personal veterinarian at the LSU Vet School.
No Tiger in captivity is better cared for.

The UTC Moccasins mascot was a shoe (Indian Moccasin) at one time. But it keeps changing to a water moccasin, an Indian, and Scrappy(? whatever that is).
