Unc... the new baylor?

Sep 14, 2016, 4:09 AM

As a father of two young girls, I worry more and more about when they leave for college.

Oh they know. Unfortunately to many people think they know what's best for them better than they do so in college their knowledge will do them no good since they won't be able to have a firearm.

I don't understand why certain places think they can

take away constitutional rights.

Looking at you, Clemson University. Students who are of age and have the legal means (CWPs are potentially unconstitutional, too) should be able to carry for their own protection.

At Baylor, the Football coaching staff and some school administrators were complicit in protecting the despicable acts of certain football players from prosecution/punishment. To some extent they actively impeded the investigations into the deviant behavior. Not sure that UNC has been proven to have reached that level of collusion yet, but there definitely appears to be a problem with the UNC public safety investigators and the local DA.

If Ms. Robinson's accusations are true and the UNC police are sweeping this kind of stuff under the rug for a "privileged" class of students (i.e. football players), then a wholesale cleansing of the UNC police department is in order. Also, it is a little disturbing that the UNC Title IX office completed their investigation in June but has yet to make a decision on the case - why the delay?

Thing is, there are numerous cases being brought against unc for the exact same thing.
