Yep. Every time I hear Eye of The Tiger, I think of Rocky and how stupid those movies were.

Please No, not "Eye of the Tiger"...

In 1983-84 our band played "eye of the tiger" waaayyyy too much! It was about that same time we were on probation so it will forever be the "probation song" to those of my generation of Clemson Alums. Anyway, I love the "Orange Bowl March" that leads right into "Tiger Rag" it's awesome!!!!! But hey, everyone has an opinion so whatever...

I was referring to the actual song being played over the speakers, not the band version. And it could also be played leading up to the songs you mentioned by the band.

I am thinking we could have some guys with fire extinguishers at the bottom of the hill and a tiger in a dress.

Imagine the coots playing cotton eyed joe when they run out to the fire extinguishers they borrowed from the local highschool. Eye of the tiger is used well and every aspect of the music before, during and after the hill is perfect. My only wish is that they stop playing that stupid version of seven nation army and play the real one or the other glitch mob one.

As I commented above, I wasn't referring to the band playing Eye of the Tiger. As much as I like Tiger Band, I think sometimes, songs over speakers are better in given situations. I also mentioned Eye of the Tiger could be played as the "signal" to the beginning of the hill festivities with the climax being the Tiger band songs.

to be on the field for pre-game and just stand around while Eye of the Tiger is played? Or do you want the band to carry on with their pre-game show and also play Eye of the Tiger over the speakers? Or do you just need to admit your idea is just stupid?

How about after the run down the hill as the band is heading back? I digress... I just think the song needs to be taken advantage of more than it is now.
