DW4 is going to be prepared like no other. IMO, wins the starting job, by 2nd week at latest. Doesn't mean he won't make rookie mistakes, but some scouts, former HC's & GM's are saying he is going to be the most " ready to play " QB in this draft class. Why, because he's already faced All the top First rounder's in this years draft and last. He's proven, unlike any other QB. This man doesn't crumble under pressure, he excels. I can't say how much I am excited for Watson. Regardless of Rookie of the year, or wins 7 games for Texans, He will continue to get better. That' just who he is because of the work he puts in.

Besides, Him and Nuk? Texan fans are already ready to see that combination for racking up yards and stats, along with Fuller. Not saying Watson makes them a playoff contender, but this team is ready to succeed to the next level. Will it be Watson that takes them there? My bet is on Watson every time.

I wish him the best, He can do it.

My Take

With that footwork..

if he doesn't make it as a quarterback, he can replace Michael Flatley in "Lord of the Dance".

Good for you Mr Yates!

Makes me hate Carolina a little less.

this work ethic is what seemed to be missed by others in the draft

I'll never forget him throwing the ball to our WRs at mighty. Deshaun is relentless. I can't vouch for how quickly he'll start and personally I'm glad he's a Texan and not a bear or brown. Easy for me to say that $15M less but he is in a great situation and look forward to keeping up with him.
