Uiagalelei / Jurkovec Rematch

Tigers were down 2 touchdowns at halftime. It was a great game.

I just realized the rematch will take place in Death Valley. Should be a good one!

Jurkovec's uncle has a locker near mine at the Y. He told me last year that Jurkovec and BC would give us a game which they did. After the game he told me Jurkovec injured his throwing shoulder near the end of the fist half and was not as effective in the second half as the first. He now tells me Jurkovec has improved with another year of experience, that BC has a better offensive line than last year and better receivers. He is planning to go to the game and is predicting we will be upset.

Our talent is far superior & will be at another level in almost every position, it won’t be close this time. Dabo doesn’t play w/Fire twice!

Everyone is supposed to improve after another year of experience. DJ will be improved. Our linemen will be improved, etc.

If BC wins out, obviously that includes beating Clemson, we don’t go to the ACC championship …

Their schedule is easy and we have a target on our back …

When you recruit much more talent athletically to be developed in a Dabo Swinney program their development potential will be much higher than BC’s. Anything can happen but our talent is far superior.

They should have gotten us last year while we had injuries & our very young OL didn’t get diet & workout in the summer they so desperately needed and 3 WR’s, 2 LB’s Foster, Tyler Davis & 2 other DT’s where hurt along with Trevor Lawrence being out because this year we are very deep at every position except QB & CB(we have depth at safety that can help tremendously if we need it this season) Barring crazy injuries here it will be a blowout in Death Valley.

It won’t be a close game this year on talent alone. We were a wounded duck last year was their chance.

BC played very well with the TE’s eating our lunch, we had a true freshman Tyler Venables at 5’10” trying to cover a 6’5” TE, he was filling in for Mike Jones & Landon Zanders.

Go back & look at the game, that’s the most injuries in one game I can ever remember having at Clemson, you can watch on YouTube search for condensed game.

We had the same defensive issues that day that cost us the next week up at Notre Dame.

The rematch with the Irish showed how much those two meant to us defensively.

They should both be available this time around.
