Uh oh not looking good for police brutality claims

Apr 29, 2015, 9:50 PM

If this is true.

When I first heard the report on news...

Apr 29, 2015, 9:52 PM

after it happened, they were talking about this. Then it was ignored by the media, therefore making it ignored by the sheeple.

oops, I see I'm already too late.

It's way more fun to jump to conclusions. You can terrorize with no repercussions, and stir up the hand-wringers' guilt complex.

You know what almost every criminal case has in common?

Apr 29, 2015, 10:59 PM [ in reply to When I first heard the report on news... ]

the accused almost always manages to confess to some dude who happened to get a reduced sentence.

it is called a rough ride, they cuff you, don't restrain you,(no seatbelt) then proceed to take hard turns and slam on the brakes until you have bounced off every wall in the back of the van.

but if you are saying someone is capable of intentionally breaking their own neck when properly retrained, then it would be a good story for the police to use.

Didn't see where it was mentioned that the van was stopping and slamming on breaks throwing the arrested around in the van.

it would not be the first time the Washington post told a partial story.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Oh that happens everytime they transport in a van.

The police love lawsuits.

Baltimore has already been sued several times over this, I doubt it is made up.

Whether that is what happened in this case, anyone's guess is as good as mine. But it does fit the circumstances. It was also mentioned in the police report that they had to stop the van to place him in "additional" restraints, which would fit both narratives.

So you bring an article that has nothing to do with an arrested witness that was in the van that Freddie Gray was in.

Got it

you would only have to be going 20 miles an hour to toss someone if you slammed on the breaks, not sure what GPS tracking is going to show.

even if this did not happen, it is the responsibility of police to maintain the safety of their suspects while in custody. This obviously did not happen and they are liable for his death, regardless if criminal charges are filed.

They may indeed be guilty of negligence or manslaughter, and

Apr 29, 2015, 10:23 PM

if so, they should be prosecuted accordingly. Again, we should all wait for all of the facts to come out.

this report is a 2nd hand statement coming from one the the cops when served a warrant, the guy on the other side of the van said he heard nothing and that Gray was not making any noises when he was in the van. So somebody is lying.
