Run game?

Oct 18, 2013, 11:21 AM

Do you guys think we will be able to run the ball consistently tomorrow? We will have a 100 yd rusher? I think if we set the tone with the run game then that will open up play action and the double move for some big plays but we have not ran well since the UGA game and since then we have not played a D that is as good as fsu's so Im not sure if we will be able to run it like we want. Just my thoughts

We haven't had to run since the UGA game.

You don't really believe we've faced another defense as good a UGA since then, do you?

Not sure I'd call the UGA defense good

NC State and BC both had better DL/LB.

Yes they did. UGA probably had the 3rd best offense in

the country (behind Oregon and Baylor) before all of the injuries, but the Dawg defense is pretty shoddy.

That is unless you think giving up 38, 30, 21, 41, 31, and 41 is good.

Yeah to who? Clemson, Scar, and LSU before the array of injuries started setting in. Three pretty dang good offenses.

UGa has actually defended the run pretty well this year

Us and South Carolina ran for the most yards on them so far, and they held LSU to less than 100 rushing yards.

would not want to be an FSU LB looking at a 325+ # FB coming in my direction

the first 'backer plugging the hole has to hate it,tho!

We won't have a 100 yard rusher

Oct 18, 2013, 12:26 PM

We'll run four different guys who'll each get ~40 yards for 160 yards rushing.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Short-midrange passes first. Runs and bombs to follow.***
